James Eugene Rucker, age 72, peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Wilcox County.

James was employed by the Wilcox County Board of Education in the field of janitorial services. He fulfilled his duties at ABC Elementary School located in Alberta, AL.

The family has arranged a service of celebration for James at Christian Light Baptist Church in Safford, AL. Services will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The interment will immediately follow at Macedonia Cemetery located in Gastonburg, Alabama.

The family has arranged a public viewing one hour before the funeral.
