Katie Ford (81 years-old)) quietly slipped away to heaven Friday, December 21, 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama. Katie was employed for years as a traveling nurse and then eight years as an LPN for Thomasville Hospital. She later worked at McMillian Bloedel and after 35 years of service, she retired.

The family has arranged funeral services Saturday, December 29, 2018, 11:00 am at Canaan Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Annie Mannie, Alabama. The burial will take place in the churchyard cemetery.
