Obituary
Elbert Mims, 90, of McWilliams Alabama, passed away at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 11:00 am at Savanna Baptist Church in Beatrice, Alabama with committal services to follow at St. John A.M.E. Church Cemetery in McWilliams, Alabama.
Public visitation will take place at Christian Memorial Funeral Home (515 Camden Bypass, Camden, AL 36726) Friday, January 20, 2023, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm.
Elbert Mims was born in McWilliams, Alabama on May 12, 1932, to Jimmy Lee Mims and Ellen McCorvey. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge on March 1, 1954. Family and friends left behind will fondly cherish all memories of him.
